This is Halloween! This is Halloween!

I kind of have this problem where I feel like I can only blog about stuff if I have pictures to share.
Cause I really like pictures, if you couldn't tell.
And I feel like if I don't take pictures then my life isn't really THAT exciting to blog about.
Not that its really that exciting to blog about anyways. :)
Apartment 22 is staying busy and happy though.
I've been extremely blessed in the roommate department.
I'm not really sure how I would get through this time in my life without them.
They are so funny, and happy, and they know exactly what to do or say to remind me of all I have to be happy about.
Thank heavens for them.
And thank heavens for Kyle and Jarom.
Kyle loves to spontaneously visit us and take us to ice cream or we go eat dinner.
So the other night we went to in and out.
And Jarom is one of my best friends.
We don't ever really do anything outrageous but we know how to have a good time and to just laugh.
Like last night when Jarom and I carved pumpkins and made chocolate covered banana's, so fun.
Danika is so great. I love sharing a room with her.
She mentioned a couple weeks ago that she need a shower cap for when she needs to shower but doesn't want to wash her hair.
So I bought her one the other day and then she promptly modeled it for me.
So hot!

Kyle is seriously one of the greatest guys I know!
I seriously can't say enough great things about him!

Hannah just likes to pose when she is waiting in line for food.
Weird ;)
Kiddding Han!

These are the pumpkins before we cut into them.

Jare likes to eat pumpkin guts-gross

I really don't like pumpkin guts but I feel like you have to carve a pumpkin during Halloween season

This is how I feel about carving pumpkins

Jarom was getting a little frustrated with his pumpkin.

So I naturally took like 20 pictures of him, just cause I know it bugs him. :)

They look exactly the same!

I'm not a master mind when it comes to pumpkin carving-So sue me

Cute right?

And of course more pictures of us.
Don't you love his face?

And our delicious treat that really wasn't that delicious and doesn't look that good.
We've come to the conclusion that chocolate covered strawberries are sooo much better just in case you were wondering!
Also, I'm getting more excited for Halloween.
I've mentioned before that I really don't love that holiday but I think my roommates and I are going to have fun-cause thats just what we do.
And I think I decided what I'm going to be tonight...you'll just have to wait for pictures though.
That is if it actually turns out how I want it to!

Halloween

I can hardly believe its October.
Where has the time gone?
Seriously Heather and Zach have almost been on their missions for one year!
It just boggles my mind.
But anyways, October. Halloween.
I love love love the fall.
But I'm not really a big fan of Halloween.
Not sure why.
I'm sort of kind of liking it more being in college and such.
But I've never really loved it.
But I had a nice Halloween filled weekend.
Friday night I went on a blind date to a haunted house.
The one over at the Provo Town Center.
It wasn't the scariest thing ever, but I definitely jumped a couple times.
And I was trying to be really brave.
I don't do very well with scary.
Then Saturday night I went on a date with Mr. Jarom.
Such a blast!
We doubled with his roommate Graff (thats his last name just fyi) and a friend of his.
And we made haunted house's out of graham crackers and then watched Young Frankenstein.
I forgot how funny that movie is.
I have to say that it was a good way to start off my Halloween festivities.

Jare with a knife...probably not a good idea

Graff and Chantel

Jarom and I making our house

Lets be honest, Jare was the master mind behind it.
I just do what he tells me. :)

Graff's and Chantel's was a little cooler than ours...but we still did good!

Graff hung a gummy bear from the tree with a piece of licorice

Jare makes better spiders than me.

They got a little crazy with the frosting

So then of course Jarom thought I needed some on my face.
I got him back, but the majority of the frosting on his face he did to himself.
Gotta love him.

I love my friends!
And I love taking pictures, obviously!
So if you are annoyed by how many I always post, well get over it. :)
Happy October!

Things I'm grateful for...

I'm having a little bit of a melancholy day.
So during one of my classes instead of listening to my professor, I made a list of things I'm grateful for.
It didn't make me feel better so I'm hoping that if I post it here and go over it again I'll feel better.
So here's a couple of the things I came up with, in no particular order.
My roommates

Being able to live on my own
Having the opportunity to get an education
My parents help financially
The gospel
My Savior
My relationship with my Heavenly Father
My car
My job
Having Jarom as one of my best friends

My calling in the R.S.
My phone
My family

Zach

Heather
Chelsea
Nichole
Hayley
My hair
Living in Utah
My body
My teddy bear
My talents
Books
Exercise
Opportunities to volunteer
The girls at work

My clothes
Make up
Candy/Ice Cream/Chocolate
Movies
The Stars
Birthdays
The temple

Tender Mercies
Hair Cuts
Nail polish
Jewelry
My pool

When I understand my classes
Trials
New Opportunities

One of the best parts of the gospel is the constant reminder that you always have something to be grateful for.
I'm a blessed girl.
