Eternity

When I was 5 years old my uncle Chris and his friend little Kris moved into my house with my family and lived with us for 4.5-5 years. If you ever have seen my old house (still hate saying that) you would wonder how the heck we had two more people in their. I don't know, but we did. I don't really remember much about those times except that I loved having them there. Little Kris (we had to use the big and little before their names in order to tell the difference between the two) from that moment on became a part of our family. After having some issues with his own family, we kind of took him under our wing and adopted him into our family. Since that time I've always called him my uncle because thats exactly what he is, minus the fact that we don't share the same blood.
About 6 years ago, I think, he married Miranda. Throughout the years they have had a hard time getting pregnant and finally got the chance to adopt a cute little girl in February. Yesterday the adoption was finalized and they were sealed to their little girl for time and all eternity. Such a sweet moment for them.

This picture isn't great, but its the best I could get.

Naturally going and waiting outside the temple I thought about my family and the relationships I have with them. I don't think that I could express enough thanks to my Heavenly Father for the sealing power and the opportunity that I have to be with my family forever. Can't say that we have always got a long, because that would be a big FAT lie, but I can say that the older I get the more I appreciate them.

Its impossible for him to give a normal smile.
But we love him anyways.

The only thing that would make this picture better was if Zach was in it.
Oh how I miss him. I don't think I'll ever get used to not having him here with me.

I love this girl. She is just one of my favorite people and one of my best friends.
She is funny, beautiful, goofy, and she makes me laugh.
I just have a real soft spot for her.
I remember when she was about to be born and my mom didn't know what she was having but I told her that if she had one more boy I was going to live with the triplets (my best friends growing up).
And I remember the day she was born and my dad called me tell me that my mom had a little girl.
I didn't believe him.
But I can't express the joy and happiness Megs brings into my life.
I'm so grateful that she is in our family.

I have to say, although I may be a little biased, this is a great picture of our family. Well except the part where Jake's eyes are closed. And again the only thing that would make it better is if Z was in it.

But luckily this little guy has volunteered to replace Z. For those of you who went to South Davis and know Mr Peter Norton. This is his son. Mr. Norton is married to little Kris's sister, so we say that we are kind of related to Norton. He's so great.
His son has the same birthday as my dad and Z, so thats why he is replacing Z until he gets back in 17 months from TODAY!

Norton's son thought that it was really cool that they had the same birthday and spent the night following my dad around. So cute. Makes me look forward to the day when my dad will be a grandpa.

All in all, just gotta say how much I love my family. They are the best.
And congrats to Miranda and Kris! Couldn't be happier for them!
